Logynon is a combined oral contraceptive pill containing levonorgestrel and ethinylestradiol. It works by preventing ovulation, thickening cervical mucus to stop sperm reaching the egg, and thinning the womb lining to reduce implantation.
Each pack contains 21 active tablets (three different strengths taken in sequence). When taken correctly, Logynon is over 99% effective at preventing pregnancy.
