Norgeston is a progestogen-only contraceptive pill (mini-pill) containing levonorgestrel 30 micrograms. It prevents pregnancy mainly by thickening cervical mucus to block sperm, thinning the womb lining, and in some women suppressing ovulation.
Each pack contains 35 tablets. Norgeston is taken every day without a break. When taken correctly, it is a reliable form of contraception.
